--after a horrible failure of trying to do this gun shot wound to the head last night, we woke up today & tried again...i am almost fully happy with the results. ( i can always find one thing i would want to change)

Oh, I agree with the other posters about the arm btw. Wouldn't be stretched out like that and if it was it certainly wouldn't still be holding the gun. And yes, If someone shot themself at such close range there would be way more damage to the head/face.
Take a look at goregrish for examples.

erm, shouldn't there be more blood (if this is meant to be believed to be real)? and shouldn't theblood be dripping down over her right eye rather than travelling against gravity?

I have some critique...
If she had the gun and shot herself, the arm would not be stretched out like that.... It would be still held loosely to her head.

I love it. But isnt the Gun in the wrong hand? Imagine trying to shoot yourself in the left forehead like that with the gun in your right hand, very uncomfortable way to shoot yoursef. If I was a crime scene investigator I would take one look at that photo and say it ws a muder made to look like a suicide.

hard to fake gunshot wounds, but seriously? shot at such a close range, it's extremely likely that the gases in the head would expand, causing some part of the head to explode outward. if you'd ever seen a real gunshot suicide victim, you'd know. also, she wouldn't be positioned that way at all, and she would be unable to keep a grip on the gun after her death.
